Meeplia is currently in a closed beta. These terms are an interim policy for the beta period, written in plain language rather than formal legal drafting. They will be replaced with a complete Terms of Service before any public launch.
Meeplia lets you play original 1v1 browser board games created by other users and, if you are a premium member, generate new games from a natural-language description using AI. Playing published games is free. Game generation and AI-assisted editing are premium features limited by a monthly credit allowance.
During the closed beta, new account registration may be invite-only and accounts may require admin approval before certain actions (such as creating a game) are enabled. We may change, suspend, or remove features, wipe test data, or end the beta at any time without notice.
You are responsible for the security of your account and for what happens under it. You may sign in with Google or with an email and password. Do not share your credentials. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms or that we reasonably believe are being used for abuse, fraud, or to generate unlawful, infringing, or unsafe content.
Game generation uses a third-party AI model. Generated games are provided "as is" — they may contain bugs, may not perfectly match what you asked for, and are not reviewed by a human before publication. You must not attempt to generate a game that reproduces an existing commercial game, franchise, or copyrighted material; Meeplia includes automated checks for this, but they are not perfect and you remain responsible for what you submit and publish.
You keep ownership of games and descriptions you create. By publishing a game on Meeplia, you grant other users the right to play it and grant Meeplia the right to host, display, and operate it as part of the service (including in the sandboxed game player). You are responsible for making sure content you publish does not infringe anyone else's rights and does not violate applicable law.
Premium access and generation credits are currently granted manually by an administrator during the closed beta; there is no paid checkout yet. Credits have no cash value, are not transferable, and unused credits may be reset or expire when the beta ends.
Meeplia is provided during a beta test without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Meeplia and its operator are not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service, including data loss, service interruptions, or issues caused by AI-generated content.
